The Story
Six convicts blast their way out of prison and into the mountains, bound for a buried fortune.
Led by the ruthless, wounded Van Duff, the escapees agree to help him reach his hidden bank loot in return for a share of the money. Crossing rough country and dodging police, the gang turns on itself, picked off one by one through violence, panic, and betrayal. When Duff finally double-crosses the last man standing, fate settles the account: Quinn finds him frozen to death, still clutching the cash, and gives himself up.
