The Story
Six convicts blast their way out of prison and into the mountains, bound for a buried fortune.
Led by the ruthless, wounded Van Duff, the escapees agree to help him reach his hidden bank loot in return for a cut. But crossing rough country with the law on their heels, the gang begins to turn on itself, picked apart by violence, panic, and greed. A tense, surprisingly hard-edged little noir with a terrific ensemble cast.
