The Story
The recently dead rise to feed, and a handful of strangers barricade themselves in a lonely farmhouse.
After a cemetery attack scatters Barbra to an isolated house, the resourceful Ben fights to seal it against the gathering ghouls while terrified survivors huddle in the cellar. Radio and television confirm the unthinkable: reanimated corpses are spreading, stoppable only by fire or a blow to the head. As panic and infighting doom one escape after another, the night dissolves into slaughter, and dawn brings a rescue posse whose final, casual cruelty seals the film's bleak verdict.
