The Story
In 1920s Tokyo, an American newspaperman stumbles onto a secret blueprint for Japanese conquest.
Editor Nick Condon obtains a militarist war plan after a colleague is murdered, then hides it as the secret police close in around him. Drawn to the elusive Iris Hilliard, whose true loyalties he cannot read, Condon is interrogated, hunted, and forced to fight for his life. James Cagney throws himself into a hard-hitting wartime thriller, complete with his own judo.
